We’ll cover all this and more.

If all you got was a day pass and a yoga pass, you'd get your money's worth and then some. But you get so much more with this program.

    Additional Information

  • The program includes four weeks of instruction, meeting every Thursday at 7 p.m.
  • The first 1.5 hours will be training and teaching. The final hour will be free climbing with our instructor standing by to give you tips and provide feedback.
  • This is a beginner focused class. We'll give you everything you need to become proficient on the wall.
  • At the end of the class, you'll be belay qualified so you can belay others at Ascent.
  • All the necessary gear is included in the price. There are no extra fees.
  • You also get one extra day pass per week so you can come in and try your new skills on your own, train, and take another yoga class.
  • Our training is group-based because we know

    ADVENTURE BUDDIES MAKE THINGS BETTER

Whatever you think is holding you back, you're not alone! You can develop your potential alongside others in the same boat (or harness, so to speak, but not literally the same harness, because that wouldn't work).
We believe in the power of groups so much that we are dropping the price to just $100 total when you and a friend sign up at the same time! That's $50 a person!

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1What happens if I miss one of the four sessions?
It's okay, life happens! However, because each session is chalk-full (get it?) of information, you'll definitely want to use your day pass that week.
2Do I need any special gear?
We provide all the gear you need. We'll provide ropes, harnesses and shoes for you to use.
    3Is this really for beginners?
YES! If you're totally new to climbing or have just climbed a few times for fun, this is a great program for you. We'll teach you everything you need to know to feel comfortable on the wall.
4What level of fitness do I need to get started?
Climbing is naturally a physical activity, so we recommend that you have at least a baseline level of fitness. If you can walk briskly around the block without running out of breath, then you're a good candidate for this program. And no, you don't have to be super strong for this class. Four weeks of climbing will help you build strength and balance.
5What if I have a little experience but want to get better?
You'd be a great fit! We are always learning, and getting back to the basics might be what you need to break your plateau or really get your climbing going. What's more, you can learn a lot from true beginners, who see things with a fresh perspective.
