Reservation Procedures
We are again splitting climbing reservations between ropes and bouldering. If you would like to switch during your session, please visit the front desk to inquire about space availability.
For ease in booking, cancelling, and more, please create a profile through our reservations system on your browser or download the RGPro Connect app. The app will also allow you to present your bar code on your phone for checking in.
Be sure to update your membership status or buy your punch card to help facilitate your arrival at the gym.
Reservations are now consecutive time slots every 2 hours starting at 6am. Reservations are for Ropes or Bouldering. This is to guarantee space is open for the type of climbing you prefer for that session.
If you would like to switch during you session, visit the front desk to inquire about space availability.
Within bouldering and roped areas, there are smaller zones. All climbers must abide by our zone capacities and do a thorough head count before enter a new zone. Zones and their capacities are marked at the gym.
Must wear a mask at all times even while using the cardio equipment.
Only 14 individuals are allowed in the training mezz.
We are no longer offering training mezz specific reservations. If you are looking to workout only, please just book a climbing reservation.
See reservation page.
Health and Safety Info & Policies
Our priority is to make sure we are doing everything we should to mitigate health risks to patrons in our facility. We are abiding by all of the Larimer County health guidelines, including requiring the wearing of masks or face coverings at all times when in the building. Please partner with us in helping to keep our community safe. It is important that we all look out for each other and do our best to keep each other healthy and climbing!
Please familiarize yourself with the policies to the right before deciding to come to our facility.
Ventilation at Ascent Studio
Because it has been shown that the coronavirus is most easily spread through airborne contamination, many people are interested in the ventilation and air handling in the gym.Our RTUs (roof top units) for furnace/AC always bring in a portion of the air as fresh air. This is a normal modern building requirement. During the day, the fans in those units are running all the time (even if not heating or cooling). So the air in the building is continually being circulated through the systems, which pulls the air through two sets of filters. The pre-filters are changed/cleaned two times per week, which reduces the frequency at which we have to replace the MERV-8 filters in the RTUs (bimonthly).
We also have two types of circulation fans inside the building.
Any person who is feeling sick or experiencing symptoms related to Covid-19, or who has recently been exposed to someone who may have been infected, will not be allowed to come to the gym.
- Symptoms include but are not limited to: fever, cough, shortness of breath, recent loss of taste or smell, or any other respiratory illness symptoms.
All participants will be expected to abide by social distancing guidelines with all other climbers, guests, and staff members.
Zones have now been marked off and zone capacity signs can be found throughout the gym. Please be sure to thoroughly count how many individuals are in a zone before entering.
UPDATE (8/11/2020): Larimer County Health Department was recently informed by the governor's office that the statewide order mandating face coverings overrides the exception for exercise that had been written into the county's variance for indoor gyms. As such, face coverings must be worn at all times by employees and customers inside any gym in the county (and state). We have updated our guidance for gyms on our website to reflect this state requirement. Previously, Larimer County's variance had allowed customers to remove masks while exercising; however, that is no longer the case. Thanks for doing your part to protect the community and to allow us to continue to remain open to the public!
Wash your hands regularly.
- We are asking all visitors to wash their hands upon entering the building.
- Also, please wash or sanitize intermittently during your climbing session.
- Please also wash your hands after completing your session before you leave the building.
All visitors (climbers and spectators) must check in and check out. This will allow us to aid the health department with contact tracing if that is necessary.
We are no longer making lead ropes available. If you wish to lead climb, please bring your own lead rope (40M minimum length).
We sell 40M cuts of lead rope in our retail shop.
Membership Status
First and foremost, we want to make sure you understand where your membership status stands upon reopening. All memberships that were frozen before and during the spring closure will REMAIN frozen until you tell us otherwise.
As of July 1st, our regular freeze fee of $7/month has been reinstated.
If you would like to remain frozen, you do not need to take any further action. If you would like to unfreeze, please do that before entering the building on your first day back. *Link Below*
