Construction Week 10

Construction Week 10

Monday was a weather day (aka mud day), but Evergreen was able to make great progress during the rest of the week. Most of the rest of the large structural steel went up this week, including the largest of the trusses spanning the climbing hall. We had so many lifts going that after hours the site looked like a parking lot for Sunstate rentals. We put up some extra cameras to capture the choreographed dance of crew, machines, and steel as they rapidly assembled a building, so we hope you enjoy the extra footage towards the end of this week’s video.

Note that the time-lapse varies in this video. We slowed it down a bit to capture some of the more interesting steel work and sped it up at other times. YouTube will let you change the playback speed if you want to see things more slowly or quickly. If you’ve got the bandwidth, you can also boost the resolution all the way up to 4K! Just click on the gear icon.

We’ll release a video every week, so stay tuned for the next construction update.
