This week was all about concrete! French Concrete finished forming, positioning rebar, and pouring the interior footing pads that will support the large columns of the metal building. Next up is doing the same process for foundation to support the building walls and pilasters. You can see all of the concrete forms being shuffled around the site like stacks of cards as they form up and pour each section of the foundation. This work is all in preparation for the arrival of the huge load of steel for the building, due to arrive next week (Mar 21 – 28) from the fabrication site in Utah.
