April 28 - May 26

Finals & Party on Tuesday, May 26

We have some awesome new additions to the Endless Summer Bouldering League!

  • Climb solo or bring a +1. You can compete on your own or team up with a partner this season—your choice. Teams of two will be in the running for a top 3 team finish along with their individual ranking, while solo climbers only compete individually within their grade range. Grab a friend and lock in your duo.
  • ONE league session! Our dedicated night for league will be every Tuesday from 6 - 10 PM.
  • Exclusive league-only hours! Every Tuesday from 6 - 7:30 PM the new set will be open for league participants only. That means you get to hop on the new set before anyone else.
  • WE HAVE A LIVE BAND FOR FINALS WEEK! We're turning this year's comp into a party with a local live ska-punk band while you climb for finals.

Each week our setters will set new league boulders. There will be 20 new problems each week. Log all your sent climbs using a redpoint format. Be sure to get a witness to initial your scorecard next to each sent climb. There will be space allotted on your scorecard for this. See the Vocab & FAQ section for clarifications.

Climb Logging Requirements:
League climbs must all be logged during your single league session on Tuesdays.

Pick up your scorecard at the front desk each session, and drop it back off at the front desk when you are done with your session.

*Can't make the Tuesday sessions but want to participate? You can still sign up! Please contact us (events@ascentstudio.com) to let us know when you will be climbing so we know if we will have to wait on your scores. We request that you climb before Friday afternoon each week so we can log scores by the end of each week.

How does choosing your team work?

If you decide you want to climb as a team, each team will need 2 members. On the first night of league (4/28), we'll record who your teammate is, and you'll be able to find a teammate if you meet someone during week 1 you want to compete with. Rally up your friends and start planning your team now!

What All Is Included When I Sign up?:

  • 5 Nights of Climbing (5 day Passes for Non-members)

  • League T-shirt

  • Pizza + Drinks at the Finals Party

  • Raffle Ticket for Prizes

  • Live Band on Finals Night

    Week 1 | April 28:  Self-Ranking Week

Week one is all about finding your level. Use this self-ranking week to climb a variety of problems and see where you’re consistently sending. Choose the category that best matches your ability—Green (Beginner), Purple (Intermediate), Red (Advanced), or Black (Open). If you’re regularly climbing above or below your selected range, we’ll bump you up to keep things fair.

    Weeks 2 - 4 | May 5 - 19

Each week, climb on the new league boulders to boost your individual score. Use your teammate for beta, encouragement, or heckling (whatever best motivates you to send!). Everyone has until closing to climb, and your score will be the sum of the top 5 boulders you complete. Your team score will be the sum of both teammates' individuals scores combined.

    Finals | Tuesday, May 26

Finals Night = comp meets concert. Join us at 6:00 pm for the rules meeting, then step into a pro-style finals round—4 minutes to throw down on your category’s boulder. A live ska-punk band will keep the energy high while you climb, hang, and snag your league t-shirt (design coming soon). Every competitor is entered to win raffle prizes from our amazing partners and sponsors, with extra tickets up for grabs. We’ll wrap the night with pizza, drinks (beer for 21+), and awards/prizes for the top 3 climbers in each category and top 3 teams.

    Scoring:

Each week there will be 20 new boulders numbered 1-20. Boulder #1 will be worth 100 points, boulder #2 will be 200 points, and so on. You will check off the climbs that you send on your scorecard, as well as indicate if you flashed the climb. Every flash gets you a 10 point bonus!

Have 1 person initial your sheet that witness your sending the boulder.

Your individual weekly score will be the sum of your top 5 climbs and your overall score will be the sum of all weeks.

1 drop week will be given to everyone. Your drop week is either your lowest score (just a high gravity day!) or a missed week between weeks 1-4.
