Hometown Heroes is an all day event celebrating Ascent's 5th birthday and YOU! Citizen competitors will compete in their selected categories with the top 3 winners in each category & division winning some BIG prizes from our awesome sponsors. Our open climbers will be competing to make it to our final showdown Saturday evening to get a piece of the $5,000 cash purse, and of course, glory.

Spectators and birthday party goers welcome all day! Hometown Heroes events include a vendor village, food trucks, raffles, music, games and intermission contests (more chances to win prizes!), beer from our friends at Rally King and Allkind Kombucha at the final showdown!

Gym Closures for Comp Prep

We appreciate your patience while we prep for our Bday! Ascent Members can climb at Wooden Mountain for free the week before Hometown Heroes while our main bouldering area is closed. Be sure to give them a big thanks when you go see them!

Whole Boulder (Nov 1 - Nov 6)
Ramp (Only closed Nov 1- reopens Nov 2)
Lead wall closed Nov. 5 at 5pm for pre-comp set up
Regular gym operations closed all day November 6th (spectating free)!
